95 WIIL ROCK BREAKDOWN 07/02/2025…. Foo Fighters…. Aerosmith…. Travis Barker….
To mark the 30th anniversary of their debut album, Foo Fighters have released a surprise cover of Minor Threat’s “I Don’t Wanna Hear It.” The high-energy punk track features newly recorded vocals over a 1995 instrumental, paying tribute to frontman Dave Grohl’s punk roots. The release is part of the band’s #FF30 celebration, which includes nostalgic content and teases of upcoming live shows. Fans can stream the cover now on the band’s social media.
Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has suggested the band may reunite for a final show or more gigs, following a hiatus due to Steven Tyler’s vocal injury. While staying active with The Joe Perry Project, Perry said all band members are “alive and well” and expressed hope for future performances, despite uncertainty.
And finally,Travis Barker owns a rare Liquid Death can holding Ozzy Osbourne’s DNA, one of only 10 in existence. The cans, priced at $450 each, were autographed by Osbourne and sold out immediately.
