Halestorm has unveiled the official video for their brand new single “Darkness Always Wins,” from their upcoming album Everest, due out August 8th. Frontwoman Lzzy Hale described the tune as not being a song of hope, nor a song of despair…but a song about reality and how evil prevails over good, but in the long run can be overcome by constant perstistence and keeping the fires burning inside. At least thats what I got out of what she said. I could be wrong though!!
Rare recordings from Ozzy Osbourne’s pre-Black Sabbath band, Earth, have been discovered after 57 years. Found by the band’s first manager, Jim Simpson, the collection—titled Earth – The Legendary Lost Tapes—offers a rare glimpse into the band’s formative sound before they became heavy metal pioneers.
And finally, Maria Brink and Chris Howorth of IN THIS MOMENT revealed their upcoming album is nearly finished, with just two songs left. A new single featuring a mystery guest vocalist will drop soon, with more music to follow ahead of the full release. Along with the album news, they also announced a new tour to promote it! The 2025 “Black Mass Tour” will be coming through WIIL Rock land, hitting The Rave Eagles Club on Saturday, October 18th, with Dayseeker, The Funeral Portrait, and Ded in support.
