The Offspring have released a new music video for “Come to Brazil,” inspired by fan pleas and filmed during their recent shows in Brazil. The track appears on their upcoming album SUPERCHARGED, which also features singles “Make It All Right” and “OK, But This Is the Last Time.” The band kicks off a U.S. tour in July with Jimmy Eat World and New Found Glory.
Wolfgang Van Halen has withdrawn from Black Sabbath’s upcoming star-studded concert at Birmingham’s Villa Park due to scheduling conflicts with his tour with Creed. Though unable to perform, he expressed deep admiration for Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarists and reflected on the nerves he felt playing at Ozzy’s Rock Hall induction. He also praised Randy Rhoads and shared his excitement for the livestreamed event. Meanwhile, Wolfgang’s band MAMMOTH recently dropped a new single, “The End.”
And finally, Queens of the Stone Age have unveiled The Catacombs Tour, a limited run of one-night-only shows at historic North American theaters. Inspired by their Alive in the Catacombs project, the band will perform reimagined versions of their songs with special ensembles. Tickets go on sale June 27, with U.K. and Europe dates to follow. You can see them when they come through playing the Chicago Theatre on Thursday, October 2nd.
