95 WIIL Rock’s Bandemonium winner of last year, Kenosha’s own, Waiting On John are currently in the studio making a full length LP. I talked to frontman John Ciotti yesterday and he said that the band is really pumped up about the record and that it should be out sometime in the fall. For now, the band has release two singles, one being an amazing cover of Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb.
Dorothy announced that she and her band will be hitting the road this summer and fall for a North American tour, promoting the bands new album “The Way” that dropped back in March of this year. Joined by Eddie and the Getaway as openers, the tour will kick off at the end of August with her making a stop at the House Of Blues in Chicago on Wednesday, September 17th.
Atlantic City Police have arrested a 57-year-old Pleasantville man in connection with the theft of musical instruments from the rock band HEART. The incident occurred at Hard Rock Atlantic City, the other night, where a guitar and mandolin were stolen. Surveillance footage led to the suspect, who was caught trying to sell the instruments locally. Although one item has been recovered; the other remains missing. Heart are actually playing the Ravinia in Highland Park, minus one instrument.
