95 WIIL ROCK BREAKDOWN 05/30/2025…. Rise Against…. Guns N’ Roses…. Red Hot Chili Peppers….
Rise Against announced that they will release their new album Ricochet on August 15th, and have dropped a new single “I Want It All,” with a video to go along with it. The band stated that the new record explores themes of interconnectedness and consequence. The band will support the release with a 2025 tour, including a co-headlining run with Papa Roach. You can see them when they come through on “The Rise Of The Roch Tour,” when they hit the Credit Union 1 Amphitheater in September.
Guns N’ Roses guitarist Richard Fortus shared photos of his guitar’s pickups melting in 109°F heat during the band’s recent show in Riyadh. The extreme temperatures also followed the band to Abu Dhabi, where they performed in 106°F conditions. Despite the heat, the band continues their tour in Eastern Europe, recently playing rare tracks like “Human Being” and “Used to Love Her.”
And finally, Josh Klinghoffer, ex-guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, has accepted a plea deal in connection with a March 2024 crash that killed a pedestrian in Alhambra, California. He pleaded no contest to misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter and received one year of probation and 60 days of community labor. The victim, 47-year-old Israel Sanchez, was struck in a crosswalk. Klinghoffer also faces a civil lawsuit filed by Sanchez’s daughter.
