BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi teams up with pop icon Robbie Williams on “Rocket,” the first single from Williams’s upcoming album Britpop. The high-energy track features a powerful chorus, pounding drums, and a signature Iommi guitar solo. Co-written by Williams, Iommi, Karl Brazil, and Tom Longworth, the song is accompanied by a music video showing Williams in punk-inspired attire dancing through London with a flash mob, alongside scenes with Iommi filmed in his hometown of Birmingham.
The Foo Fighters are set to perform a show in Bali, which is located in Indonesia, and apparentally have some clout they are taking advantage of for the gig. According to the local promoter, the band have been granted permission to curse, smoke, and drink on stage, provided they avoid sensitive topics. While alcohol is tightly regulated in Indonesia, tourist zones like Bali allow more leniency. Along with that, the band will also bring their own chef but will sample Indonesian cuisine as part of the hospitality.
And finally, Sully Erna has confirmed GODSMACK will take a year-long break after their successful 2025 European tour. The pause follows the retirement of drummer Shannon Larkin and guitarist Tony Rombola. Erna plans to pursue solo and film projects, while he and bassist Robbie Merrill intend to continue the band with new members. Despite the changes, GODSMACK remains focused on celebrating its legacy with greatest hits shows.
