95 WIIL ROCK BREAKDOWN 05/23/2025…. Radiohead…. Shinedown…. The Devil Wears Prada….

Daniel Williams, former drummer of The Devil Wears Prada, and music agent Dave Shapiro, along with four others, were killed in a private jet crash near Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport in San Diego early yesterday morning. Shapiro, a founding partner of Sound Talent Group and owner of Velocity Records was repotedly flying the jet that crashed in an area of military housing that set cars and homes on fire. The Devil Wears Prada posted a picture of Williams on Instagram with heart emoji’s saying, “We owe you everything, Love you Forever.”

SHINEDOWN frontman Brent Smith shared that the band is 75% finished with their eighth studio album. With two singles already out and two more due this summer, the album is expected to be announced sometime later this year. You can check out Shinedown with Bush this summer on their “Dance, Kid, Dance” tour when they play the Fiserv in July and in August when they hit the Allstate.

Thom Yorke, frontman of Radiohead, has collaborated with electronic producer Mark Pritchard on a new music project called Tall Tales. As part of the album’s experience, they have buried 400 coins around the world and are encouraging fans to find them. Yorke posted an enigmatic message on Instagram about the coin hunt, and fans can track the coins on a website called the “Forger’s Letter.” Fans have already found some coins and are excitedly sharing their experiences on social media. The elaborate coin hunt has engaged the community and added an element of mystery and excitement to the album release.
