Queens of the Stone Age have announced Alive In the Catacombs, a concert film recorded in Paris’ Catacombs last summer. Featuring an unedited, stripped-down performance surrounded by human remains, the film will be available to rent or buy, with exclusive behind-the-scenes content for early purchasers. The band resumes touring in June after postponing shows due to frontman Josh Homme’s emergency surgery.
Pearl Jam has dropped a special four-track EP, Pearl Jam: The Last of Us, featuring songs from the acclaimed Max series. The release includes “Future Days,” “All or None,” a live version of “Future Days” from the 2024 Ohana Festival, and the new track “Present Tense (Redux).” The Last of Us, based on the hit video game, has been renewed for a third season. Pearl Jam is currently touring in support of their album Dark Matter.
And finally, the co-headlining “Poisoned Ascendancy” tour by Trivium and Bullet for My Valentine was abruptly canceled after BFMV frontman Matt Tuck reportedly pulled out of extended international dates. Trivium bassist Paolo Gregoletto expressed frustration, noting the band’s desire to continue the tour. In response, Trivium launched their own North American tour. Despite the fallout, both bands have hinted at possible future collaborations.
