Ghost has released a new music video for “Peacefield,” blending live footage from the early shows of their 2025 Skeletour with stylized visuals. The video has been met with praise from fans and offers a glimpse into the band’s latest chapter tied to their album Skeletá. The Skeletour enforces a phone-free policy to deepen audience engagement—an approach frontman Tobias Forge says has already heightened the live experience.
Halestorm will release their sixth studio album, Everest, on August 8th, featuring the single “Darkness Always Wins.” To support the album, the band will be launching a global 2025 tour, including a North American co-headlining leg with Lindsey Stirling and Apocalyptica, starting in November.
And finally, Mike Peters, frontman of Welsh rock band The Alarm, has died at the age of 66 after a long battle with blood cancer. Diagnosed with lymphoma in 1995 and later chronic lymphocytic leukemia, Peters was known for hits like “Sixty Eight Guns” and for co-founding the Love Hope Strength Foundation to support cancer patients. The Alarm, originally formed in the early ’80s, had recently announced a new album, Transformation, set for release in June.
