Snoop Dogg released a 4/20-themed video for “Last Dance With Mary Jane,” featuring Jelly Roll and the late Tom Petty. The track, from his Missionary album, samples Petty’s classic and includes a cameo from Dr. Dre. Directed by Dave Meyers, the video portrays Snoop’s emotional farewell to marijuana after a health scare, blending nostalgia with the tribute to Petty.
Ozzy is gearing up for his final concert, Back to The Beginning, on July 5th at Villa Park in his hometown of Birmingham. After a seven-year hiatus and a series of surgeries, the 76-year-old is undergoing intense endurance and weight training to regain stamina. Despite health challenges, including a 2020 Parkinson’s diagnosis, Ozzy plans to take part in the show, which will feature performances from members of Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, and other major artists.
And finally, Queen guitarist Brian May has paid tribute to legendary music producer Roy Thomas Baker, who has died at the age of 78. Baker co-produced several of Queen’s iconic early albums, including Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night at the Opera, and Jazz. May shared heartfelt memories and personal photos on Instagram, honoring Baker’s pivotal role in shaping the band’s sound. Beyond Queen, Baker also produced for major acts like Foreigner, Alice Cooper, and Guns N’ Roses. His death was confirmed by his publicist, with no cause disclosed.
