Puddle of Mudd will release their new album Kiss The Machine on May 2nd via Pavement Entertainment, with frontman Wes Scantlin calling the album a fresh, boundary-pushing effort. The lead single, “Beautimous,” is out now. Meanwhile, Scantlin faces felony charges following a March 11th arrest in California for domestic violence and drug possession.
Faith No More drummer Mike Bordin was recently interviewed and has cited poor communication from lead singer Mike Patton as key reasons behind Faith No More’s near decade-long hiatus. Bordin also revealed that the band had rehearsed extensively for a tour that was supposed to take place in 2021, but was ultimately canceled due to Patton’s mental health struggles.
And finally, drummer Zak Starkey, who was fired from The Who last week after their March 2025 Royal Albert Hall show, has rejoined the group. Initial reports cited a “collective decision” over his drumming style, but guitarist Pete Townshend later clarified it was a communication issue. Starkey, who is the son of The Beatles drummer Ringo Starr, played with the band since 1996, and expressed gratitude and unity towards his fellow bandmates for the change in their decision.
