In a surprising and exciting move, legendary hard rock band Foo Fighters revealed that their highly anticipated new album will be released on July 15, 2025. The announcement came during their electrifying live performance at the Rock on the Range festival over the weekend. The band also teased a tour in support of the album, expected to kick off later this year. Fans can look forward to new music as well as a celebration of Hawkins’ legacy.
Limp Bizkit will reunite with Metallica on the upcoming leg of the ‘M72 World Tour,’ launching later this month. Guitarist Wes Borland teased the collaboration with a psychedelic cover of Metallica’s “Orion” on social media. While it’s unclear if the track will appear live, fans can expect high-energy performances from both bands and a stacked lineup of supporting acts.
And finally, Progressive rock band Coheed and Cambria received the key to their hometown of Nyack, New York, during the SpringFest Street Fair on April 13. Mayor Joe Rand and a local chamber trustee presented the guitar-shaped key to frontman Claudio Sanchez, declaring the day “Coheed and Cambria Day.” Sanchez thanked the town and performed an acoustic set.
