Linkin Park have dropped a new single, titled “Up From The Bottom,” set to feature on a deluxe edition of their From Zero album. Lead vocalist Mike Shinoda said the track captures the energy of their first shows after the band’s hiatus after the death of Chester Bennington, while DJ Joe Hahn called it their best song ever.
A new book hit shelves on Friday titled Lollapalooza: The Uncensored Story Of Alternative Rock’s Wildest Festival, offering an unfiltered history of the iconic music festival. The book dives into the festival’s groundbreaking 1991-1997 run through hundreds of new interviews with artists, organizers, and industry figures. Featuring a foreword by Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil, the book includes insights from stars like Perry Farrell, Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails, Green Day, Rage Against the Machine, and more, chronicling the rise of alternative rock and its cultural impact.
And finally, Sleep Token fans can expect new music soon, as metalhead weatherman Chris Michaels teased a cryptic “Prepare” message on Instagram last week, hinting at a release on March 29th. This follows the debut of lead single Emergence from their upcoming album Even In Arcadia, due out May 9th.
