Seether has announced their “The Surface Seems So Far” tour, kicking off in May with them making a stop at The Rave/Eagles Club on Monday, May 12th. Supporting acts include Mammoth WVH, P.O.D., and Nonpoint, as Seether promote their ninth album, The Surface Seems So Far, released last September.
The band Otherwise out of Vegas is back after a two year hiatus, and have just announced a new tour. ” The Permanent Vacation Tour will kick off in June with them coming through, playing 1175 in Kansasville, along with Bedlam, Embers Rise, and Lines Of Loyalty on Friday, June 13th.
And finally, the supergroup Down, featuring Phil Anselmo and Pepper Keenan are entering the studio for the first time since 2014 and will be hitting the road doing a few shows in support of Danzig. Down were scheduled to perform a show last June in New Mexico, but the concert was postponed due to rapidly growing wildfires that were converging on a village inside a tribal reservation, so the band ended up doing two pop-up shows in Louisiana, with portions of the proceeds donated to the Apache Nation South For Fire Relief Fund.
