Volbeat has officially unveiled their upcoming album, God of Angels Trust, set to be released on June 6th. The LP will coincide with plenty of touring on the band’s “Greatest Of All Tours Worldwide”. You can see them on the final date of the U.S. leg of the tour when they hit the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre on Friday, June 6th in Tinley Park, with Halestorm and The Ghost Inside opening up the show. Along with the announcement, the band premiered the music video for their new track “By a Monster’s Hand”.
Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong has joined the ownership group of the Oakland Ballers, a new independent baseball team in Oakland, CA. The team, which began play in 2024, aims to revive the city’s sports spirit following the departures of the A’s and Raiders. Armstrong and rapper Too $hort are backing the Ballers’ community-driven mission, with the second season set to start in May.
Cleveland’s masked metal band MUSHROOMHEAD have announced a fall 2025 U.S. tour, set to feature PSYCHOSTICK, BLACK SATELLITE, and MIND INCISION as supporting acts. You can see them when they play at the Rave in Milwaukee on Friday, October 24th.
