Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson is set to embark on his first extensive North American solo tour in almost three decades. The tour, scheduled in support of his latest studio album, The Mandrake Project, will showcase the vocalist’s powerful solo material. You can check him out Saturday, September 27th when he performs at the Riveria Theatre in Chicago.
Another tour just announced comes from TESTAMENT. The “An Evening With Testament” tour will celebrate the 35th anniversary of their third album, Practice What You Preach. In support of the album’s reissues via Nuclear Blast, the band will perform deep cuts and classic ballads for the first time ever on this special and intimate tour. You can get the full experience when they come through and play at The Rave in Milwaukee on Monday, May 6th.
And finally, FASTER PUSSYCAT singer Taime Downe’s fiancée, Kimberly Burch, tragically died after going overboard from the Royal Caribbean ship Explorer Of The Seas on Monday evening during The 80s Cruise. The incident occurred after a reported argument with Downe. A search operation involving multiple ships was launched, but Burch’s fate remains unclear. Her mother stated she doesn’t believe Kimberly intended to harm herself.
