CREED has announced the return of their “Summer Of ’99 And Beyond Festival” for 2025, expanding to two days after last year’s sold-out debut. The festival will be held July 18-19 at Alpine Valley marking the 25th anniversary of CREED’s first performance there. Friday’s lineup features NICKELBACK, +LIVE+, DAUGHTRY, TONIC, OUR LADY PEACE, and LIT, while Saturday will see CREED, 3 DOORS DOWN, SEVENDUST, MAMMOTH WVH, HINDER, VERTICAL HORIZON, and FUEL.
Layne Staley’s lost journals will be published in a new book, This Angry Pen: The Lost Journals of Layne Staley, slated for release on November 11. The collection will include poetry, artwork, fan tributes, lyrics, and photos, with Staley listed as the sole author. The book will be published by Simon & Schuster.
And finally, Machine Head has announced their 11th studio album, UNATØNED, set for release on April 25th. The album, written on the road and recorded between July 2023 and December 2024, includes singles like “UNBØUND” and tracks such as “ATØMIC REVELATIØNS” and “BØNESCRAPER.”
