Jelly Roll has teamed up with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre on their new album Missionary. The track “Last Dance With Mary Jane,” which samples Tom Petty’s “Mary Jane’s Last Dance”, features Snoop and Jelly Roll trading verses, with the lyrics penned by Snoop. Dr. Dre confirmed that the reworking was approved by Petty’s estate.
Slipknot guitarist Jim Root has threatened to leak the band’s long-delayed ‘lost’ album, Look Outside Your Window, recorded during the 2008 All Hope Is Gone sessions. Root expressed frustration over its ongoing delay, with percussionist Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan still mixing the tracks. Despite this, Crahan has confirmed the album will be released in 2024.
And finally, KFC is offering a limited-edition holiday promotion in Canada, featuring vinyl records with playable Christmas carols. The records are printed on paper lids and coated in vinyl, creating a unique collectible item.
