Body Count, the metal band fronted by Ice-T have come out with their own version of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” featuring David Gilmour, taking on the classic by adding their own twist to it with some profound new lyrics and actually performed it live on “The Tonight Show” Wednesday.
Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor, recently shared his frustration with today’s music culture, saying it feels like music is no longer valued and is treated as disposable, without having the bigger cultural impact it once had. Reznor, who has been scoring films for the past few years, says he has found some new inspiration, and is finally ready to get some new Nine Inch Nails music out there.
And finally, metalcore icons Poison The Well have announced that they will embark on a 25th anniversary tour to celebrate their album “The Opposite Of December… A Season Of Seperation”. The band will kick off the tour in the Spring, playing the album in full every night with Glassjaw, Better Lovers and Teenage Wrist as support acts. You can check them out when they play The Salt Shed in Chicago on April 22nd.
