Portnoy also said that this album will likely be one of two as the band transitions from celebrating their 40th anniversary to focusing on their upcoming album Parasomnia.
Former Queensrÿche front man Geoff Tate revealed he is working on Operation: Mindcrime III, the final installment in his iconic concept album series. In a recent interview, Tate described the new tracks as “super heavy” and “incredibly technical,” comparing their complexity to algebra. The original Operation: Mindcrime was released in 1988.
And finally, Linkin Park took the stage at the 2024 League of Legends World Championships at London’s O2 Arena over the weekend, performing their official anthem “Heavy Is The Crown” ahead of the tournament finals.
