Slayer will return to the Louder Than Life Festival in 2025 after their headlining slot was canceled this year due to Hurricane Helene. Festival organizers announced the band’s participation for the festival which will take place September 18-21 next year, in Louisville, KY. Slayer reunited for select festival dates this year, marking their first performances since their 2019 farewell tour. The full lineup for the 2025 festival will be revealed this sometime this winter.
Iron Maiden has announced the “Run for Your Lives Tour” for 2025/2026, celebrating their 50th anniversary since bassist Steve Harris founded the band in 1975. Singer Bruce Dickinson promised fans a “once-in-a-lifetime live experience” and urged both longtime followers and newcomers to join in the celebration.
And finally, Black Stone Cherry has released a cover of The Cult’s “American Horse,” featuring Skillet’s John Cooper. This marks the band’s second collaboration this month, following their recent version of “Out of Pocket” with Killswitch Engage’s Jesse Leach.
