Crossfade has announced their comeback, marking their first performances since 2012. Although the band never officially broke up, they have been largely inactive for the past decade. The two shows will take place in Ohio in 2025, featuring appearances at the Sonic Temple festival and Inkcarceration.
Alex Van Halen has confirmed that the rumors of an Eddie Van Halen tribute tour were true. He revealed that plans for a reunion with guitarist Joe Satriani and either Michael Anthony or Jason Newsted on bass was derailed when David Lee Roth opposed honoring Eddie directly during performances. Along with that, Alex also disclosed that he suffered a significant spinal injury in 2022, which has left him unable to play drums.
And finally, Las Vegas police have not made any arrests in the shooting of former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee, who was shot multiple times while walking his dog early Tuesday morning. Currently in intensive care, Lee is expected to make a full recovery with authorities describing the investigation as “ongoing” and believe the shooting was “completely random,” according to Lee’s management.
