Bassist Frank Bello made his return to the stage with Anthrax on Saturday night at the Aftershock festival in Sacramento, California, marking his first performance in over a year and a half. Bello’s anticipated show at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, was canceled on September 27 due to severe weather. Drummer Patrick Galante has parted ways with Ice Nine Kills after six years with the band. Since joining in 2018, he expressed gratitude for the experience, stating, “Performing with Ice Nine Kills has been an incredible experience.” Galante emphasized that his departure is not an exit from music, but rather a new chapter as he pursues other creative projects. Ice Nine Kills has yet to comment on his departure.
And finally, Zakk Wylde is exiting the final five dates of the ‘Experience Hendrix’ tour to attend Ozzy Osbourne’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction this weekend. The tour, featuring guitar legends like Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Eric Johnson, concludes this week in Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida.
