NOFX, the hardcore Punk band that has been around since the early eighties, wrapped up their farewell tour over the weekend, with an epic final show at Berth 46 in Los Angeles. The 32-song set, included guest appearances from members of Rancid, Bad Religion, and the Foo Fighters, just to name a few. Frontman Fat Mike assured fans this marks the definitive end, with no plans for future reunions.
In a recent interview, GODSMACK’s Sully Erna announced that their latest album, “Lighting Up The Sky,” will likely be the band’s final collection of new material. He confirmed that the band is not working on any new music, stating they plan to focus on honoring their 30-year catalog and enjoying greatest-hits moments instead. While he acknowledged that the future is unpredictable, the decision to stop creating new music has been made.
And finally, Scott Stapp will perform at the Grand Ole Opry on the 23rd of this month, marking his first appearance inside the iconic circle. The concert will also feature the debut live performance of his duet “If These Walls Could Talk,” featuring Dorothy. Stapp expressed his gratitude for being invited, calling it a “distinct honor” to step into the Opry circle for the first time.
