Slayer’s Kerry King just announced that his new band will embark on a 28-date North American headlining tour starting in January. The tour, featuring Municipal Waste and Alien Weaponry as supporting acts, will kick off on the 15th, with them making a stop in Milwaukee 3 nights later when they hit the Rave on Saturday, January 18th. Along with the announcement, King also dropped a video for his new song “Where I Reign”.
Cage the Elephant’s “Neon Pill Tour” has concluded, marking the band’s most successful tour to date. The 47-date run sold over 440,000 tickets and grossed more than $25 million. While no shows for 2025 have been announced yet, the impressive figures suggest more performances may be on the horizon.
And finally, Dave Allison, original guitarist of the heavy metal band Anvil, has passed away at 68 after a battle with cancer. The band expressed their condolences, honoring his contributions and legacy over his decade-long tenure, during which he recorded six albums.
